How To Save Environment : Eco-Friendly Transport

Nowaday, our environment is getting worst. We can see many pollution everywhere. Pollutions include air, water, soil and sound pollution.  At our  living area, we can see open combustion, people throwing rubbish everywhere and the river full with many rubbish. At the industrial area, many factories released the polluted smoke to the air while at the  town or city, many cars released the carbon dioxide gas from their car  exzos. The factor of these pollution include emission of gases by the motor vehicle, open burning, mining, agriculture and warfare. As we know, pollution can cause problem to us. Pollution can give effect to our health. It can cause many types of diseases such as respiratory diseases. Regardless to the environment,  it creates a polluted condition.

            Fortunately, instead of many people making the pollution, they some of us are  concern and take actions to reduce the pollution and preserve  our environment. For example, the scientist in biotechnology field and automotif engineer is now giving their best effort to produce a new  type of transport. The new transport will not polluted the air or we can say it as the eco-friendly transport. In other words,an eco-friendly transport will reduce the impact on the environment. There are many types of eco-friendly transports such as hybrid car, bio-fuel buses, bicycle and others. Thus, eco-friendly transport is one of the best way to save our environment. 

First of all, let start with the concept of eco-friendly transport on car. Eco-friendly concept can be identified on hybrid car and biofuels car. In this present day, hybrid car is very common to us. We can hear and see it on televisyen, or read about it on the internet or newspaper. Most of the biggest car producer company such as Toyota, Honda, BMW, Mercedez and many more is in race of produce the highly efficient hybrid car. As the result, many hybrid car is produced and sold to people. For example, The Toyota Prius is the world's top selling hybrid car, with cumulative global sales of 2.0 million units by September 2010.

          Based on the fact, we can conclude that hybrid car is become more popular all over the world. For the information, introducing hybrid car is actually  how the car producer company try to get involve in campaign of save the environment. In Malaysia, there are also effort to produce the hybrid car but it was still in process.

Next is the public transport,buses, new buses are being tested in areas of the US,  that use biofuels instead of diesel fuel. Even in New Delhi, India, they are trying to replace old pollution hog buses with more eco-friendly buses that use compressed natural gas or CNG, also called as “BioGas”. This how the government in the world save environment in their country. By referring this two example, we can say that public transport also can become eco-friendly transport. This effort should  emulated by other countries all over the world so that we can reduce the usage of transport that give  impact to our environment.

Thirdly, eco-friendly transport concept on trains. Many of today's newest trains are powered by magnet technology. Today's "green train" uses a permanent magnet motor, which is a modern engine technology that enables increased propulsion chain efficiency. This type of motor results in lesser operating costs as well as far reduced environmental impact. In addition, the "green trains" have an assistance system in place that reduces traction energy. This ‘green train’  show  us that our scientist and engineer are trying expand this eco-friendly concept on trains also not only focus on car.

Fourthly, airplanes are also getting a makeover, not just because it's an environmentally friendly thing to do, but because it will save costs over time. In 2007, Boeing unveiled an eco-friendly plane model called the "787 Dreamliner", which Boeing claims uses 20 percent less fuel, produces 20 percent lower emissions and also decreases maintenance costs by 30 percent from typical aircraft such as the 747. Therefore, eco-friendly transport is not limited to transport that move on the road but also to the transport that fly in the air.

Last but not least,  bicycle also can be eco-friendly transport. The reason why bicycle can be eco-friendly transport is bicyle doesn’t need fuel to move on and do not have engine  that release carbon dioxide into air. Other than that, bicycle is so cheap and anyone can have it at home. In Beijing, China 9 million people using bicycle in 2010. This had become the Chinese trend and life style. This not just only reduces the traffic congestion in Beijing but it is also can preserve their environment. Based on the situation in Beijing, it is actually can be a good example to the other countries. Riding bicycle has become a trend not only due to its low cost and affordable but also due to the awareness among us to keep our environment.

As a conclusion, whether it's by airplane, bus, train or car, earth friendly transportation looks like it's here to stay. With so many advancements in technology, it's no wonder that methods of eco-friendly transportation are improving year after year. From fuel cells to magnet power to hybrids and on and on. People will continue to search and build a better technology of eco-friendly transport. This effort on how to save our environment will be continuous.  Therefore, lets together we preserve our environment, stop any pollution from occurred and support as much as environment campaign so we can live happily in better condition.
